The first Open Source app that lets you write posts, upload photos, and edit your WordPress blog from your iPhone or iPod Touch is already released by WP people. Blogging is really anywhere nowadays. Having an Iphone 3G Chance Slip Away

My chance of winning an iPhone 3G has slipped away. Auction.ph announced 2 days before that they have their winners for P1-P5,000 bidding contest for iPhone 3G and that was not me. Sigh, I am really joining different contest on the web just to win an iPhone 3G and this contest from Auction.ph is one of the latest competition that I am participating. Some are from John Cow's online competition and some other. This is the only way that I am thinking of  so that I can manage to get my own iPhone 3G for my self. Life here in our place is very difficult actually but I can't really get myself from "desiring" / "wanting" for this device. I have never this kind of feeling before in my life. Maybe because I am really into gadgets. I even told my friends that I'd rather buy gadgets than new clothes. That's why they see me wearing the same pair of shirts every week.

Another thing that I can do is to practice search engine optimization (SEO) and make money out of it. I actually join a small Seo Contest (Cebu Seo Contest) to practice so that the next time I'll join another big time competition, I know the things that I should do. Now for the mean time, I got to be contented with the iPod Touch that I have just won from a certain SEO contest. :)

Nokia's "Tube" against iPhone 3G

When I was browsing the net and looking for update about the iPhone 3G in the Philippines, I have found out that Nokia is about to release this year a new touch phone to battle against Apple's iPhone. This is actually buzzing around the cyberspace already with the revealation of the new high-end multimedia cellphone models: N79 and N85. The said touch phone from Nokia is codenamed as "Tube" and expected to be released by the later quarter of the year. The question right now is that is it this new Nokia cellphone can surpass the popularity of iPhone 3G? Will be this "tube" cellphone will be very affordable or will be with the same level of prize with iPhone 3G? I guess not! If you will just simply base it on the prizes of high-end units like N79 and N85 which causes $600 plus which is not yet a touch phone, I will be expecting a very expensive iPhone like device from Nokia.

Well if this happens that the Nokia "Tube" will be available in the Philippines and I've seen that this will surpass the features of iPhone 3G, I might shift my attention to this new gadget. Right now I am just hoping that I grab the free domain registration and web hosting from the Cebu Seo Contest so I can make a website that I will use exclusively for new gadgets and PC equipment. (I guess this Seo Contest will be my only hope to have a new website as of now, how pathetic I am hehehe...)

Tomorrow will be iPhone 3G's Release!

Tomorrow will be the day, the day where Globe will officially release the amazing phone from Apple which is iPhone 3G in the Philippines. Definitely the Philippines will feel its power and strength to the Filipino market. Actually today, Globe give invitation to those who want to feel iPhone 3G before its release tomorrow. This happens by 10PM at the Tower One and Exchange Plaza, Makati City. Unfortunately, I was not able to view it closely because I am here far away from the civilization of iPhone 3G world.I am in a province that I am expecting that the arrival of the said unit will be delayed by weeks or even couple of months. I will just wait for miracles to happen and I might win the contest in Auction.ph regarding iPhone bidding.

That's how desparate I am!

Cebu SEO Contest, iPhone 3G, Etc...

Last August 14, I decided to participate in a local SEO contest in the Philippines called Pinoy Blogger: Cebu SEO Contest. It is produced and funded by PHBlogger dot net under Lhurey's supervision. I am attracted of course again with the contest itself and not of the prize. I like the satisfaction that I see my entries ranked on Google with the target key phrase. In the said Cebu SEO Contest, entrants should optimize their website entries to the key phrase: Cebu Seo Contest. There's no specific rules stated by Lhurey which mean anybody from the Philippines with pure blood Filipino can join with no limit in number of entries. One specific rule that Lhurey stated was the checkpoint date for Cebu Seo Contest entries will be on September 8 and the last date of registration will be on 2nd day of September. The status of my entries are quite good but I am expecting that other of course will do something to overtake it so I keep on tracking this activities daily. Later, I will give a list of entries I made on this kind of challenge.

With regards to my iPhone 3G quest, I still was not able to raise fund to buy one but I have a certain participation in a contest wherein the prize is an iPhone 3G. That is the contest from Auction.ph, wherein you simply need to guess the right prize of an iPhone 3G which ranges to P1.00 to P5,000.00 only with the lowest centavo of P0.50. Imagine this cheap and simply bidding you can acquire the iPhone 3G already. So i did give my bid just hoping that I might get it. September 4 is the day of revealation of the iPhone 3G guess bidding contest from Auction.ph. I am waiting for something that has 0.000001% possibility to win. At least I still got hope to get an iPhone 3G for myself.

Regarding my Busby SEO Challenge entries, I decided not to continue with the SEO contest because the result is so obvious that the reality is slapping in my face that I should face. I therefore decided to pause for it. The challenge is too much for me to bear I must give up on it. Well that's life, sometimes there are people who win and who lose. Unluckily, I'm the latter!

iPhone 3G in the Philippines confirmed by Globe Telecom

This will be nice and I'm happy about it but as I said on my previous post, I can't still afford it. Not yet so I'll just go on with my money making ventures and try to save something to buy it someday. The easiest way to have it on my hands is through winning to different contest such as the Busby SEO Challenge and UK Webmaster World SEO Contest 2008 version 2 with the keyword: kabonfootprint or you can donate some of your free money :D

iPhone 3G will be here this August

Yes guys! iPhone 3G will be released by Apple to other 20 countries this coming August 22 and we, Philippines, is included to this release.

I'm so excited about this but I still don't have the financial capability to acquire this kind of phone. Maybe by the end of the year or next year will be my target for buying this cellphone. After and if only this income generating blog of mine will be earning enough to afford this. Wee.

iPhone 3G Kills iPod

With the recent release of iPhone 3G last July 11 plus Last.fm released of an application to enable users to listen for any music they love possibly might bring iPod to its "extinction". Imagine in a magnificent device where you can access the internet through its 3G support plus the luxurious appearance of a $100-$299 unit of Apple phone now integrated with a great application that allows you to listen a vast array of music. An all-in-one device weeh.

This adds to my desire to have it. The burning feeling really giving me the hush and gush to have it as soon possible. The question is when and how? Yet to be discovered by me. :D

Cheaper SMS Cost in the Philippines

Good news texters and SMS fanatics from Philippines! After the 8th State of the Nation Address of President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo, call and text messaging companies announced the cheaper SMS cost ever in the history of texting. Smart, Sun and Globe announces the P0.50/text rate to all networks. Actually, this was announced by the President during his speech.

What now? What it will do to my goal on buying an iPhone 3G in the Philippines? Well at least it will cut my SMS expenses into half. In this way, it will give me a chance to save money and eventually raise fund to reach my iPhone 3G goal. The sad part about this announcement is that, it is not a permanent rate for the said companies because its just a promotional ads of this companies which will end by last week of October this year. People are not really conviced about this "achievement" on making the "not necessity site items" of their daily lives to be given attention. Oh well I'm not a political guy and I don't want to comment about this. All I want is to raise enough green leafy paper money to reach my iPhone 3G dream.

Price of iPhone in the Philippines

Have you wonder what's the price of an iPhone unit in the Philippines? Same here so I decided to look for it on different malls in our place and so last Saturday, I dropped in a shopping Mall in Iloilo City and got to the 3rd floor to see new stuff and I accidentally see one cellphone store that sell iPhone. Do you know the cost of the unit? It's 31,990 in pesos at about $725.00! Imagine, what a an expensive sleek and beautiful cellphone. I'm drooling in desire when I see it but I can't afford it yet so I just stay on wondering and praising it.

On eBay Philippines when I search for it, the prize range from 17K to 29K pesos and there's this iPhone China which cost at about 6K pesos which I'm not sure if it will take a month to stay it working :D!

Apart from this iPhone, I try to look for iPod Touch in the mall but i'm not lucky enough to see one. There's a lot of iPod Shuffles and Nanos for sale. Oh well, if I'll get lucky this end of August I might have my own iPod Touch directly from Australia! I hope so!

Why iPhone 3G?

Welcome to my iPhone blog! Have you ever got obsessed to something you're doing anything just to have it or make it possible to happen? Me, I got this desire or wants for something. I want an iPhone 3G. I know that there are problems in the world that is more important other than this "earthly desire" but I can't help myself. I keep on thinking on things about this outrageous gadget. Imagine I'm always thinking on what to do to make money online or offline just to buy this new device from Apple.

You will expect more of my musings, rants and shouts about this iPhone 3G. It is not yet available in the Philippines (legally) but later this year it will be released and distrubuted by Globe Telecom and I don't know if I am financialy stable that time to buy one. So this blog's objective is to earn money online so that I can buy iPhone 3G for myself and so be it!
